After Hours Pick Up - Auckland Airport

  1. For customers arriving outside of normal service hours, your pre-completed rental agreements and rental vehicles can be collected from Flyaway.
  2. Once you are in the Arrivals area of the International Terminal call our after hours provider Flyaway on 0800 77 66 99 and press option 1 and let them know you’re ready to be picked up.
  3. Pick-ups at Auckland Airport’s international terminal are from the transport pick-up zone, a short, undercover walk from the terminal.
  4. The covered walkway begins directly opposite the international arrivals area with clear signage to guide you to the transport pick-up zone.
  5. The walk is approximately 5-10 minutes.
  6. The Flyaway shuttle buses operates on an ‘on demand’ service, which is normally no more than 20 minutes away.
  7. At the Flyaway offices, introduce yourself to the staff and they will hand you the keys to your rental vehicle (after sighting full and valid Drivers licence).
  8. Prior to arrival you will be emailed pictures of the current condition of the rental vehicle and our fair wear & tear guidelines. We recommend that you walk around your vehicle at the time of pick up and feel free to add any additional photos to the link provided in the email.
  9. Please note that an after hour fee will apply for this service.
