We have just returned to the UK after six months away. Last October we spent a whole month in New Zealand touring in one of your Apex cars, and were completely satisfied with the service provided. It was so easy to make all the arrangement via e-mail and experienced no problems whatsoever when arriving in Auckland and collecting our car. Unfortunately there was a death in our family which meant extra use of your mobile 'phone. However, on arriving in Wellington it was so easy to have more credit added, and your staff there were so helpful, thus enabling us to continue our journey to South Island still with the reassurance of having the use of a mobile 'phone. Thank you so much for a perfect service, and we would certainly recommend Apex to anyone visiting New Zealand, and hopefully one day we will return and will be able to enjoy an Apex car for our touring.

Just arrived back in the U.K and would like to say thanks for your very good services. I have hired cars from all parts of the world but your way of dealing with a customer is the best I have encountered. No problem with the pick up from Christchurch, good instructions to leave the city, a very, very good Free book about New Zealand, no problem at Picton on leaving the car and picking up the new vehicle at Wellington, Ferry crossing organised very smoothly and finally the drop off at Auckland airport handled extremely well. Would recommend to anyone wishing to hire a car in New Zealand "GO for Apex". Thanks once again your service made our first trip to New Zealand very enjoyable.

Recently my best half and I travelled through the South Island of NZ - nice place. We actually hired a car from Thrifty as part of the travel package. We picked up said vehicle at Picton and it had had their 50-point check, the car was a gold coloured Toyota Echo. But all 4 doors were in need of lubrication and were very hard to close /open and made that awful noise each time they were used. A chap from Apex Car Rental came to the rescue; he was a South African fellow - that unmistakable South African accent. He escorted us to Apex Rental depot in Picton and had one of the service people lubricate the doors. For that I say a huge thank you and Thrifty was reduced to 46-point check! Had I not paid for the car rental in Australia I would have returned the vehicle to them and used one of yours. Unfortunately I do not know the name of the helpful Springbok. I have mentioned Apex Car rental in my work place - Victoria Police in Australia and I hope some of my colleagues make use of your car rental when they visit NZ So, again thank you. Being an Aussie Rules state I still have to support the Wallabies, so can the Wallabies each time they play the All Blacks and the Springboks!

I'm writing to thank you for your excellent service: transparent, simple and reasonable pricing with no hidden extras, personal service (pickup, dropoffs, everything), no frills cars that work perfectly fine (though windscreen scrapers would be useful in winter!), accurate and complete information for return, and in particular the convenient one-way and island-hopping rentals and zero deductible CDW system which made the whole experience pain-free and simple to administer, as well as being reasonably priced. Lots of rental companies in other countries could learn from you. I'll definitely recommend you. Please pass on this mail to others in you company and to the relevant NZ tourist authorities so they can see what makes for a satisfied customer.
